If there’s a lien, pure peer-to-peer is messy. Get a ten-day payout from the lender, meet where funds clear the loan, or use a dealer/marketplace that handles lien payout. Don’t hand over keys while the bank still owns it.

I used a dealer to clear the lien and took the equity. Cost more than private but zero paperwork panic.
