Auto parts stores load-test for free. Voltage alone lies. If it fails under load, replace; if it passes, chase parasitic draw or alternator. Saved anyone a wrong $250 battery lately?

Free load test caught a weak battery that still showed 12.4V sitting. Would have stranded me on a ferry morning.
